Bound to the Soil

No words said for his soul

From neighbour to neighbour

An existence untold

From living to the greater

Is he bound to the soil when you begin to falter

Forgetting the life lived from the man that gave you shelter

The sky turns to a darker blue,

like your eye with an indigo hue,

how can the world remember you

When words were never said.
